| There is no pre entry for the class necessary. There are two classes for beginner and once we see how many people show we may move the majority of the bigger dogs or younger dogs to one or the other if it is possible. |

The Kanine Kollege is located at 32 South Maple, Enfield, Ct. at the Powder Mill Barn. Thursday evenings starting at both 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM for beginner obedience, pre entry is not necessary. The intermediate open and utility following at 8:00 PM. The class costs $ 110.00* and includes a leash and collar. The classes will show you how to use the leash, collar, voice and body movements to get your dog to behave.
The recommended minimum age for the classes is 4 1/2 months but 4 months will usually be ok for normal sized dogs.
Once enrolled please bring your dog into the building on the collar we provide.

We do not pre enter you just bring the dog on a leash the first class fill out the form and pay the fee then.

The beginner class does not use food until class 6 or 7. The dogs are never off the leash and collar running around. The beginner class is tell them to do it once and make them do it if necessary. You must be prepared to praise the dog if it does it right. We recomend a 20 minute commitment per day for those entering the class. Substantially less than 20 minutes a day is considered unfair to the dog and unfair to the others in the class. We start very slowly but add something each week.
